White Truffle Dinner at Tartines - $210 including wine match 

 

July and August are truffle harvest months and our Lower Hutt based grower is harvesting his own white truffle in Whanganui. We have decided to celebrate this humble but delicate fungi with a special 4 courses degustation dinner with wine match.

 

Truffle is a fungi that grows underground under oak and is praised all over the world for its aroma and unique characteristics.Its price range starts at $3000/kg. White truffle is the crown jewel of truffles and has Italian origin.

 

Over the 4 courses, each dinner will consume 12 gr. of white truffle.

Konrad, the truffle hunter, will be there to talk to you about the truffiere, why, how and where this business venture has happened and what is happening.

 

Each course will be carefully matched by wine connoisseur & importer Lucas Monge, from Del Mundo wine.

A night of taste and discovery worth his weight of Truffle.
